Fall Road Map Series - Week One: Young people are wired to find their place in the world — testing ideas, pushing against boundaries, watching closely for where they belong and what they're capable of — to matter, contribute, and grow into who they're becoming. The adults around them, whether working directly with youth, supervising young staff, coaching, or teaching, shape how fully that drive gets to unfold. In the first session of our Fall Road Map Series, we'll explore developmental psychologist Dr. David Yeager's Mentor Mindset: a framework for scaffolding adolescent growth that replaces old assumptions about young people's capabilities with a clearer picture of what they're capable of and what they need from us to get there. You'll leave with a practical way to put the mentor mindset into practice in your own context.
